Dalip Singh Saund: His Life, His Legacy 
Film and Educational Guide License Agreement

The Parties agree as follows:

Heritage Series, LLC, grants (Licensee) permission to use the "Dalip Singh Saund: His Life, His Legacy" documentary film ("Film") and Educator's Resource Guide ("Guide") solely for its internal educational use, according to the terms set out below.

  1. For the purpose of this agreement, "internal educational use" is limited to screenings of the Film and the Guide by students and faculty members in a learning environment provided by Licensee. Licensee may not charge a fee for, or commercially exploit in any way, its use of the Film or Guide, without written permission from us.

  2. In consideration of the permissions granted herein, Licensee agrees to pay $310 US. We will provide Licensee electronic copies of the Film and the Guide separately.

  3. Licensee may purchase additional copies of the Film and/or Guide for $50 US. Each purchase shall be subject to the licensing terms set out in this Agreement.

  4. Licensee may not reproduce, alter, create derivative works from, or distribute the Film or Guide without our written consent; though Licensee may reproduce the Guide or sections thereof in connection with its internal educational use. All reproduced materials from the Guide must display the following notice on the document: "(C)Heritage Series, LLC 2015. All rights reserved." All reproduced Guide materials must also display the following subtitle: "'Dalip Singh Saund: His Life, His Legacy Educators Guide' developed by the Heritage Series, LLC."

  5. The permission granted in this License Agreement extends only to the 2015 versions of the Film and the Guide, and not to any subsequent versions.

  6. This license supersedes prior License Agreements or Permissions to use, distribute, reproduce, and perform any portion of the Film and Guide or their previous versions. For the avoidance of doubt, any license granted in connection with any prior version of the Film or Guide is hereby terminated and no longer in effect.

  7. We may terminate this Agreement immediately at any time upon written notice to Licensee in the event Licensee or its students, faculty, or staff use, disclose or reproduce the materials in any manner not permitted by this Agreement.

  8. Licensee will use the Film and or Guide at its own risk, and we do not guarantee the Film and/or Guide's accuracy. We will have no liability to Licensee or to any third party as a result of its use of the Film or Guide.

  9. The parties agree that a signature transmitted electronically may be used for all purposes as the original signature.

  10. This License shall remain in effect in perpetuity.

Norman Y. Mineta: A Boy from San Jose

Film and Educational Guide License Agreement

Heritage Series, LLC grants (Licensee) permission to use the “Norman Y. Mineta: A Boy from San Jose” documentary film (“Film”) solely for its internal educational use, according to the terms set out below.  

  1. Heritage Series, LLC grants (Licensee) permission, in perpetuity, to use the “Norman Y. Mineta: A Boy from San Jose” documentary film (“Film”) solely for its internal educational use as set out in this Agreement. For the purpose of this Agreement “internal educational use” is limited to screenings of the Film by Licensee’s students, faculty/and or staff in a learning environment provided by Licensee. Licensee may not charge a fee for or commercially exploit in any way its use of the Film, without express prior written permission from Heritage Series, LLC.

  2. In consideration of the permissions granted herein, Licensee agrees to pay $310 US to Heritage Series, LLC. Heritage Series LLC will provide Licensee one electronic copy of the Film.

  3. Licensee may purchase additional copies of the Film for $25 US. Each such purchase(s) shall be subject to the terms of the License as set out in this Agreement.

  4. The permission granted in this License Agreement extends only to the 2015 version of the Film and not to any previous versions of the Film.

  5. This license supersedes any prior License Agreements or Permissions to use, distribute, reproduce and perform any portions of the Film or any subsequent versions of the Film. For the avoidance of doubt, any licenses granted in connection with any prior versions of the Film are hereby terminated and no longer in effect.

  6. Heritage Series, LLC may terminate this Agreement immediately at any time upon written notice to Licensee in the event Licensee or its students, faculty or staff use, disclose or reproduce the Film in any manner not permitted by this Agreement or are otherwise in breach of any provision in this Agreement.

  7. The Film is provided “as is”. Licensee will use the Film at its own risk, and Heritage Series, LLC does not represent that the Film is accurate or up-to-date. Heritage Series, LLC will have no liability to Licensee or to any third party as a result of its use of the Film and Licensee will indemnify and hold Heritage Series, LLC harmless from any claims related to Licensee’s use of the Film.

  8. The parties agree that this Agreement may be executed in counterparts. In addition, a signature transmitted electronically may be used for any and all purposes for which the original signature may have been used.

  9. This License shall remain in effect in perpetuity.

Honor and Duty: The Mississippi Delta Chinese
Film and Educational Guide License Agreement

The Educator's Resource Guide will be emailed to each Licensee upon its projected completion in Fall, 2017.

The Parties agree as follows:

Heritage Series, LLC, grants (Licensee) permission to use the "Honor and Duty: The Mississippi Delta Chinese" documentary film ("Film") and Educator's Resource Guide ("Guide") solely for its internal educational use, according to the terms set out below.

  1. For the purpose of this agreement, "internal educational use" is limited to screenings of the Film and the Guide by students and faculty members in a learning environment provided by Licensee. Licensee may not charge a fee for, or commercially exploit in any way, its use of the Film or Guide, without written permission from us.

  2. In consideration of the permissions granted herein, Licensee agrees to pay $250 US. We will provide Licensee electronic copies of the Film and the Guide separately.
